We are excited to announce the launch of Elite Hoops Academy, a new competitive basketball program through Elite Athletics Sports Complex!

Elite Hoops Academy will be led by UC Clermont Coach Kenny Lowe, alongside player development trainers Dante Harlan and LeVar Smith. Our goal is to provide young athletes with a structured, competitive basketball program focused on skill development, team play, basketball IQ, athletic growth, and long-term player development.

Open to incoming 4th–8th grade boys and girls

5:00 PM–6:30 PM

What Elite Hoops Academy Includes

Players selected for Elite Hoops Academy teams will receive:

Two team practices per week
1–2 additional player development training sessions per week, depending on game schedules
Structured skill development and basketball training
Coaching and development from experienced basketball coaches and trainers
Competitive league and tournament opportunities
A consistent development plan designed to help athletes improve throughout the season
Ongoing player evaluation and opportunities for advancement

Our training and practice schedules will be coordinated as efficiently as possible to create a consistent routine for athletes while making drop-off and pick-up more convenient for families. When possible, training sessions and team practices will be scheduled together or back-to-back to reduce unnecessary trips for parents.

Elite Hoops Academy is being built for players and families looking for more than just a team. Our goal is to create a complete development environment where athletes can improve their skills, compete at the appropriate level, grow their basketball IQ, and build confidence on and off the court.

What Happens After Tryouts?

Following tryouts, selected players will be placed on teams based on age, skill level, performance, development needs, and overall team fit.

Elite Hoops Academy is a competitive program, and roster spots are not guaranteed. However, every athlete who attends tryouts will have the opportunity to continue training within the Elite Hoops Academy development system to improve their skills and work toward future team placement.

Teams will generally consist of 7–10 players per roster, allowing for meaningful playing opportunities, focused coaching, and individualized player development.

Players will be continuously evaluated throughout the season and may have opportunities to move between teams or compete at higher age levels based on performance, development, effort, and readiness.

Fall Season

During the Fall season, Elite Hoops Academy teams will participate in the Elite Athletics Fall League, which includes:

9+ regular-season games
End-of-Season Tournament
Two team practices per week
1–2 additional training opportunities per week, depending on game schedules
Continuous player development and evaluation
Winter & Spring Seasons

During the Winter and Spring seasons, Elite Hoops Academy teams will continue competing in league play while also having opportunities to participate in:

Local tournaments
Regional events
Potential travel tournaments
Additional competitive opportunities based on each team’s level and readiness

Our goal is to place each team in competitive environments that challenge players while supporting their continued development.

Fall Player Cost

Fall Season Cost: $550 per player

The $550 Fall player fee is designed to be an all-inclusive program price and includes:

Team practices
Player development training sessions
Elite Hoops Academy uniform
Fall league registration fees
Regular-season games
End-of-Season Tournament
Coaching
Player evaluation and development planning

Our goal is to provide families with a complete basketball development experience under one program and one price, without separate charges for every practice, training session, league fee, or uniform expense.
